Organic Calendula Extract

Our Calendula extract has a warm scent reminiscent of its flowers. It can be a popular ingredient in skin care due to its suitability for most skin types. Restorative, high in vitamin C and anti-inflammatory in nature, it is useful in soothing sores and skin irritations. Our Calendula Extract is made from natural calendula flower, glycerin and aqua. Extract derived from the plant commonly known as pot marigold or Calendula officinalis, research shows that calendula extract has properties that help to restore dry skin, giving the skin back its suppleness and youthful glow. 

Application: Not soluble in oil but can be used in an emulsion.

General purpose: Suits most cosmetic applications; Suncare products; Shave products; Soap (bar & liquid); Creams, lotions, body butters (oil & water emulsions for body & face); Cleansers (gel & creams); Hair products. 

Usage Guide: 1-6%. If adding more than one type of extract, use up to 6% in total.
