Rosehip Oil
Rosehip Oil is a fruit oil extracted from the seeds of the rosehip, an amber berry-like fruit that grows wild on rosehip bushes and is left behind after the rose has flowered and dropped its petals. It is brimming in vitamins, including Vitamins A C, D and E all of which provide powerful antioxidant protection. It is also rich in fatty acids that may aid in tissue regeneration and to help to keep the skin beautifully youthful.
Our Rosehip oil is a rich carrier oil with high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, containing up to 49% linoleic acid and 34% linolenic acid, which may combat free radicals that cause damage, and helps to improve skin tone, texture and pigmentation.
Its hydrating and gentle qualities can be used to treat a range of skin conditions from stretch marks to age spots and many more. It's considered a 'dry' oil as it absorbs into the skin easily without leaving an oily residue.
It is ideal for personal care formulations or aromatherapy uses.

Recommended Uses: While this can be used neat on the skin we recommend using it diluted to avoid any skin staining or heavy skin feel. Dilutions of between 1-20% are common. This is good for problem skin, anti-ageing, barrier repair, conditioning and to help manage pimple breakouts.
