Premium AMTicide Coconut

AMTicide Coconut is a naturally derived preservative made by fermenting coconut fruit with Lactobacillus. It helps protect skincare and haircare products from yeast and mould while also providing moisturising and conditioning benefits. Combining the technology of fermented Cocos nucifera (Coconut) fruit with Lactobacillus this preservative system delivers skin moisturizing benefits to hair and skin care applications. A great eco-friendly option for DIY formulations, it supports product safety without relying on traditional preservatives like potassium sorbate or sodium benzoate.

Usage: Use at a ratio of 2-4% of the water content of your formulation. Add at cool down at around 145 degrees or less.

Solubility: Water soluble.

Use Direction: If using in conjunction with leucidal, use the ratios of 2% amticide coconut and 2% leucidal (liquid). Use within a 3-8 pH range. The product has been found to be heat stable up to 70°C and active under both acidic (pH 3) and basic conditions (pH 8).
